Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP-6)

Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) is a chemical found in high fibre foods such as beans, brown rice, corn, sesame seeds and wheat bran. IP-6 is a very specific form of inositol, different to myo-inositol and d-chiro inositol. It appears to have some anti-cancer properties reducing the occurrence of tumours and slowing their growth. It also aids in the metabolism of minerals such as calcium and helps cells to relay chemical messages from outside of the cell into the cell nucleus.

I read that d-chiro works in pcos because myo- synthesizes into d-chiro and that mechanism could be faulty in women with pcos. Also read that d-chiro synthesizes into IP-6 which could also be faulty in women with pcos, so basically taking IP-6 would be ‘cutting out’ the middle man (myo-inositol) by taking the end results (d-chiro or IP-6). Would it be better to just cut to the chase and supplement with IP-6 rather than d-chiro or myo- for pcos?

I heard that d-chiro inositol lowers testosterone. It makes womens ovaries to decrease testosterone production and increaze progesterone production by improving ovulation. Mio inositol improves quality of eggs. Every inositol is dicferent. Not all mio converts into d chiro. Women with diabete, pcos, man who are balding due to DHT might really have deficiency of d chiro inositol
